“Barracuda” was originally sung and released by the rock band Heart on their third studio album, Little Queen.
Covering such an iconic song can be a risky move for new artists. However, Audrey certainly did it justice with her powerful performance.
In a black-and-white video shared on her social media, the 23-year-old is seen performing an acoustic version of the rock classic, effortlessly hitting its challenging high notes.
Needless to say, many people were blown away by Audrey’s talent. The comments were filed with encouraging messages from fans, sharing how impressed they were with her cover.
“Holly hell that was great and so very brave of you to do an Ann Wilson vocal, and you nailed it. Impressive!!” one person exclaimed.
“Becoming one of my favorite artists. Just an amazing voice. The once in a generation voice,”
“Your voice is truly something special,” added another fan. “It’s rich, powerful, and filled with emotion. Every note you sing feels effortless, and carries so much depth and feeling. It’s not just your technique that impresses, but the way you connect with the music and draw listeners in. You don’t just sing the song you become it, and that is a beautiful gift.”
