Slipknot\u2019s drummer, Eloy Casagrande, was backstage. Though relatively new to the band, his reputation was ferocious\u2014known for demolishing drum kits with raw power and precision. But tonight, he wasn\u2019t a performer. He was a fan. A student. A pilgrim at the altar of metal royalty.<\/p>\n

And then it happened.<\/p>\n

Bill Ward entered the hallway.<\/p>\n
