At 83 years old<\/strong>, Sir Paul McCartney<\/strong> remains one of the most influential artists in music history. Now, after years of respectful silence, Paul has finally chosen to speak \u2014 not through song, but in his own words.<\/p>\n

\u201cI let a lot of things go unsaid,\u201d<\/em> he reflects. \u201cBut now, I think people deserve to hear it from me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Truth Behind the Breakup<\/h3>\n

In a recent interview, Paul opened up about one of the most misunderstood events in rock history: the breakup of The Beatles.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople thought I broke up the band. That\u2019s just not true,\u201d<\/em> he says firmly. \u201cThe group was already falling apart, and John had already expressed his intention to leave. I just made the legal move to protect the music.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

That legal move, filed in 1970, triggered a media firestorm that cast Paul as the one who \u201cwalked away.\u201d But in truth, it was a final act to preserve their shared legacy.<\/p>\n

His Bond with John Lennon<\/h3>\n

The most emotional part of Paul\u2019s reflection comes when he speaks about John Lennon<\/strong>. Though the two had their well-documented differences, Paul admits that the connection never truly faded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI loved him. Still do,\u201d<\/em> he says quietly. \u201cWe were like brothers. Sometimes that means fighting, but the love never goes away.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Paul revealed that the two had made peace in the years leading up to John\u2019s tragic death in 1980.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
